The botanical name of yarrow blue oil is achillea millefolium. It is also known as milfoil. It belongs to Asteraceae family. Yarrow blue is native to moderate regions of the Northern hemisphere in Asia, North America, and Europe. Yarrow is also known as herbal militaris. It is a perennial herb with a simple stem. It can grow up to 1 m (3 ft) in height. It blends well with jasmine, lavender, clary sage, rose, sandalwood and etc. The yarrow oil undergoes a steam distillation process and one gets it from yarrow leaf flowering tops.
