Mentha Piperata Oil

Mentha piperata oil, as the name suggests is a mixture of menthol and peppermint plant. Both of the plants are cultivated in India itself with hairy leaves and pinkish flowers which marks a distinguishing purity of the oil. The color of the oil ranges from colorless to pale greenish yellow due the peppermint leaves. It has an appealing aroma of peppermint and menthol. The oil is extracted from the steam distillation of the natural herbs and is commonly known as Gamathi pudina, vilayati pudina, paparminta and peppermint.
