Mentha Citrata oil is originated in the central and southern Europe and is extracted from the fractional distillation of the herbs of the plants. The oil being so extracted is transparent yellowish in color although the plant has a purplish hue with a sweet smelling fragrance very similar to lavender and bergamot. The oil is sometimes also called Bergamot mint because of the tint of bergamot in its aroma.
