Fir needle oil:-is derived from the needles of various species of fir trees, such as the balsam fir, white fir, and Douglas fir. The scientific name of Fir Needle Essential Oil is Abies sibirica. The Abies sibirica  is an important member of Pinaceae family. The tree of Abies sibirica  can grow up to 30-35 meters in height, trunk diameter is about 0.5-1 and generally, the length and the width of abies sibrica tree leaves are 3cm and 1.5mm. It is obtained from soft, flat needle-like leaves of the fir needle tee. The color of this oil is colorless to pale yellow liquid and it has a fresh, woody, and earthy aroma. It is obtained using the steam distillation method. Abies sibirica tree is native to Russia.
