The Cypress essential oil is from Cupressus sempervirens which is from Cupressaceae family and is also popularly known as Italian or Mediterranean cypress. Its tree is a perennial tree that is conical in shape about 28 meters high and is originated from the East. It is an evergreen tree along with Pale yellow to yellowish brown colour foliage having small flowers and round brown-grey colour cones with having seed nuts inside.
